"Bag It" - Film Showing

Film showing: Sunday, October 10, at 2 p.m.
“Bag It,” an award-winning documentary film that examines society’s use and abuse of plastic, follows an average American who makes a pledge to stop using plastic bags. This simple action leads him to embark on a global tour to unravel the complexities of our plastic world.. Following the screening, a discussion will be held led by Kim Stone, associate director of Safer Pest Control Project, a nonprofit organization based in Chicago, and William Bogot, chairman of the Highland Park Environmental Commission.
The event is presented with the Highland Park Environmental Commission and the League of Women Voters.
